LossGuardian vs other risk management tools
LossGuardian is a multi-broker trading risk management app for Indian retail traders, supporting Zerodha, Fyers, Dhan, Upstox, Angel One and Groww at one price. It enforces daily loss limits, consecutive-loss caps and trade-count limits with full-screen alerts you cannot dismiss. It is read-only: it cannot place, modify or cancel an order. It warns you, and you act.
Catches revenge trading
LossGuardian
By timing: re-entering too soon after an exit is what gets flagged, so a revenge trade is caught even when it happens to win.
Other tools
Usually by loss size alone. A revenge trade that wins slips straight through.
Trades on your behalf
LossGuardian
Never. Read-only: it cannot place, modify or cancel an order. By design, so you build the discipline instead of outsourcing it.
Other tools
Many hold write access to your account and square off positions for you.
One price for every broker
LossGuardian
The same price whether you trade on Zerodha, Fyers, Dhan, Upstox, Angel One or Groww.
Other tools
Typically priced by broker, and the popular ones cost the most.
Broker coverage
LossGuardian
Six, live. Official broker-issued integrations for Zerodha, Fyers and Dhan; connect Upstox, Angel One and Groww with your own key.
Other tools
Typically one to four brokers. Groww is often unavailable.
Loss limits
LossGuardian
A rupee limit and a percentage of capital, running together. It will not quietly reset tomorrow morning. You reset it, deliberately.
Other tools
Usually a single rupee limit that resets itself each day.
When you breach a limit
LossGuardian
A full-screen alert you cannot dismiss, plus a cooldown countdown. Then you close the trade.
Other tools
The software acts for you, so nothing changes in how you trade.
Where your data lives
LossGuardian
On your machine. You log in on your broker’s own screen, and we never see or store your password.
Other tools
Varies. Often held server-side.

We don’t trade for you. That’s the point.
If software squared off your positions for you, you would not learn anything. You would just have a new dependency. Discipline gets built by being warned and choosing correctly, over and over, until you no longer need the warning. The rules are yours. We just make sure you can’t pretend you didn’t see them.
Common questions
Can LossGuardian place or close trades for me?
No. LossGuardian is read-only. It cannot place, modify or cancel an order on your account. It watches your positions and warns you; closing a trade is always your own action on your broker’s platform.
Why does LossGuardian not square off my positions automatically?
Because that would defeat the purpose. If software closes your trades for you, you never build the habit; you just acquire a dependency. Being warned and choosing correctly, over and over, is how discipline is actually built. The rules are yours; we make sure you cannot pretend you did not see them.
What does "official integration" mean?
For Zerodha, Fyers and Dhan, LossGuardian connects using an app ID and API keys issued by the broker themselves. For Upstox, Angel One and Groww you supply your own API key. In every case you log in on your broker’s own screen, and we never see or store your password.
Does LossGuardian work with more than one broker?
Yes. Six brokers are supported: Zerodha, Fyers, Dhan, Upstox, Angel One and Groww. The price is the same for all of them.
One price. Every broker.
Every feature, on any of the six supported brokers, for the same price.
