What LossGuardian is

LossGuardian is a desktop risk-monitoring application. It watches your trading activity and fires alerts when your pre-set rules are breached. It never places, modifies or cancels an order. It does not execute trades, manage funds, or act as a financial advisor. You remain fully in control of every trade you make.

What data we collect

We collect minimal data to operate the waitlist and improve the product:

• Your email address when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Crash reports to help us fix bugs.

What we never collect

• Broker credentials : Login tokens are stored exclusively in your device's OS keychain. They never leave your machine.
• Trade data or P&L : Your trade history, positions, and account balances stay local.
• Risk rules : Your loss limits and session rules are stored only on your device.

LossGuardian is a local-first application. Cloud sync is opt-in only, client-side encrypted before transmission, and you can disable it at any time.

How we use your data

• Email : To send product updates, access credentials, and essential service notices. No spam.
• Analytics : To understand which features traders find most useful so we can improve them.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We use standard services (email delivery, error tracking) that process data under their own privacy policies. We do not share financial or trading data with any third party under any circumstances.

Data retention

We keep your email until you request deletion. You can request full account and data deletion at any time by emailing us. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

Indian data law

LossGuardian complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). As an Indian user, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.
