LossGuardian
FyersOfficial FYERS API integration

Fyers kill switch and daily loss limits, without handing over your account

Fyers gives you a stop-loss on a trade. It does not give you a stop-loss on your day. LossGuardian connects to your Fyers account through an official integration, watches your realised and unrealised P&L in real time, and alerts you the moment you hit the limit you set.

Read-only. LossGuardian cannot place, modify or cancel an order in your Fyers account. It warns you, and you act. You log in on Fyers’s own screen, and we never see or store your password.

How to connect Fyers to LossGuardian

A short walkthrough of connecting Fyers, then the same steps in writing below.

Connect Fyers · walkthrough
  1. 1

Download LossGuardian for Windows, install it and sign in.

  2. 2

Pick Fyers in LossGuardian. Official FYERS API integration

  3. 3

Log in on Fyers's own screen. Your password goes to Fyers, not to us.

  4. 4

Set your limits: a rupee figure, a percentage of capital, a trade count, a cutoff time. These are your rules, not our defaults.

  5. 5

Trade as normal. LossGuardian watches in the background and speaks up only when you cross a line you drew.

The missing guardrail in Fyers

You can have a green day and a terrible process: size up after two losses, get bailed out by one lucky trade, and learn precisely the wrong lesson. A broker shows you P&L. Nothing shows you whether the way you traded today is the way you would want to trade for the next thousand days.

Daily loss limit

A rupee limit and a percentage of capital, running together. Cross either and the session is stopped.

Revenge trading caught by timing

Re-entering too soon after an exit is what gets flagged, so it is caught even when the trade happens to win.

Consecutive loss cooldown

Hit your streak limit and a countdown holds before the app treats you as clear to re-enter.

Alerts you cannot dismiss

An always-on-top stop, not a toast you can click away while tilted.

What Fyers traders get most out of

1

Discipline Score, 0 to 100

A single number derived from impulse counts, consecutive-loss alerts, overtrade breaches and execution-window violations, with an expandable breakdown of every deduction. You can finish green and still score badly, and see exactly why.

2

Streak tracking

Consecutive wins and maximum consecutive losses, tracked across the session and surfaced in their own view. The streak is usually visible in the data long before it is obvious to you.

3

Cooldown countdown on screen

When a consecutive-loss or impulse cooldown trips, a dedicated overlay counts down in front of everything else. Not a notification you can miss, but a clock you have to watch run out.

Is this a Fyers kill switch?

Not in the sense of software that reaches into your Fyers account and closes your positions for you. LossGuardian is read-only: it cannot place, modify or cancel an order. What it does is enforce the rule behind a kill switch: the moment your loss limit, trade count or losing streak is breached, an always-on-top alert you cannot click away tells you to stop for the day, and a cooldown holds before it treats you as clear to re-enter. You close the trade, in Fyers. That is the part that builds the habit, and it is the part software cannot do for you.

Fyers has its own kill switch, which it calls Take a Break. LossGuardian cannot switch it on for you, and never will. What it does is open Fyers’ own page for it from the hard-stop popup and from Risk Manager settings, so finding it takes one click instead of five. You switch it on yourself, in Fyers. Check Fyers’ own help pages for how long it lasts, because that differs by broker and can change.

One price. Every broker.

Using LossGuardian with Fyers costs exactly what it costs with Zerodha, Dhan, Upstox, Angel One or Groww. Other tools charge you more for using a bigger broker. We don’t.
