Discipline score
A discipline score that grades your process, not your P&L
LossGuardian’s discipline score is a number from 0 to 100 for how well you followed your own rules in a session. Points come off for impulse trades, losing streak breaks, going past your trade limit, late entries and loss limit breaches, and every deduction is listed. A green day can score badly, and a red day can score well.

P&L is a noisy teacher
You can break every rule you have and finish green. You can follow every rule and finish red. If profit is the only thing you track, you learn the wrong lesson from both days.
Good process pays over hundreds of sessions, not one. So you need a way to grade your process on the day it happens, separately from the result.
A discipline score does that. One number that asks: was today a day you would be happy to repeat a thousand times?
How discipline score works in LossGuardian
- 1
Every session starts at 100.
- 2
Points come off for rule breaks: impulse trades, trading during a cooldown, losing streak breaks, trades past your limit and entries after your cutoff.
- 3
Open the breakdown to see exactly which rule cost you what.
- 4
Daily scores build a trend line, so you can see whether your habits are really improving.
Useful even for days it did not watch
Scores past days from your tradebook
About 80% of discipline stats can be rebuilt from your broker tradebook alone, for days the app was not running. Stats that need live data are marked as not available instead of guessed.
Shows what broke your rules
An alert breakdown shows which rules you broke most over a week or a month, so you know what to fix first.
Kept on your computer
Your history is stored on your own machine and kept separate per broker account.

What it is not
It is not a trading signal or a promise of returns. It measures how well you kept the rules you set. Whether those rules make money depends on your strategy.
Discipline score: questions traders ask
How do I measure my trading discipline?
Write your rules as numbers: a daily loss limit, a trade limit, a cutoff time and a losing streak limit. Then count how often you broke each one per session. A discipline score turns those counts into one number you can track week by week.
Can I get a good discipline score on a losing day?
Yes, and that is the point. A day where you took only planned trades, respected your limit and stopped on time is a good day of process, whatever the P&L.
Does the discipline score work for old trades?
Mostly. LossGuardian can rebuild about 80% of discipline stats from your broker tradebook for days it was not running. Anything that needs live data is marked as not available.
